I Want To Leave Nursing What Else Can I Do

I ve worked community and hospital for a ccg and in conjunction with the local authority.
I started my grad year in a really busy ward and couldn t manage so i was sacked. I don t have a job now and i feel pressure to get one as i have a mortgage and had plans to build a house this month now i can t do that my. Now as we know working as a nurse is not always rainbows and roses. I don t want to go back into it.
I can t do this anymore. When i got laid off from my nursing job and couldn t find work as a nurse i tried to work in non nursing jobs because i had to do something. You ve got to do some soul searching do a personal inventory of your skills your likes and dislikes your passions your financial situation and re invent yourself. Want to leave nursing advice please.
Do you have a mentor superior head nurse you want to emulate in the future. Everything i think of that i would want to do people hang on to those positions with a. If you still want nothing else but leave the hospital after. The hospital pays for my certs and time taking them has ways you can move up affordable benefits and pays for my school.

I am actively looking at what i can do to leave as i m dealing with the same shit in a different hospital. Bedside nursing was not something i enjoyed and i knew it was important to find a new niche. A day in the life of a nurse can be far from pretty. If it is bedside nursing you want to leave you will need to get an msn or mha to give you opportunity toward administration.
I m in a similar situation i have years of experience working as a nurse and need out. Nobody would hire me there either except for temp work at low pay that wouldn t keep gas in my car so i could move my car from place to place when i slept in it for shall we say being housing challenged. Now i want to quit it for good. If you have a bsn you re in luck.
A nurse wants to help another human being feel better and suffer less. If i could get on as a case manager that might not be too bad. Again those jobs are so hard to find. Going to school for something else i have posted in the past but i like patients.

There are quite a few careers you can choose. This is something i have had to deliberate on in the past as well. Your degree might get your foot in the door with some insurance companies that want nurses and their knowledge.
