What To Do With A Natural Spring On Your Property

Sounds like part of your property is a wetland.
A part of my back yard is muddy due to a natural spring. If it is in fact a natural source then if could be spring or runoff. What can i do to help get rid of some of the water. The disruption of the natural flow and excavation will result in muddy cloudy water for a while but a true natural spring will clear up quickly once everything begins to settle.
A natural spring has erupted beneath an urban house creating a steam that flows straight out of the foundations. It does fill with water when it rains. What is the best way to cover this up. Collections of natural spring water in your yard can give the family dog a place to cool off on a hot day but groundwater traveling from the spring could also be a problem for your home.
A natural spring has surfaced on my property and the water is taking it s natural course. I was thinking about some plants and or a tree. Perhaps this is a heavier time or from recent storms that are working their way underground and bumping into an impervious layer of shale that your house was built on top of. This section is 2 5 3 feet in lenght and 1 1 5 feet in width.

Natural water springs can provide homes with drinking water if the water is checked and treated on a regular basis.
