What Others Think Of Me Is None Of My Business
Camila Farah
As bette davis once said what other people think of me is none of my business.
What other people think of me is none of my business is a mantra i adopted a couple of years ago. Many spend most of their lives trying to please others and it never bring. That makes it much easier to not take it personally when they don t think what i wish they would. To me the value of what others think is none of my business is to remind me to keep attention on my own thoughts so as to not to attempt to oppose or legislate others thinking.
My fear of bombing on stage and caring what drunken strangers at a comedy club thought about me kept me for years from telling the world some stellar dick and fart jokes. What other people think of me is none of my business many people have told me over the course of my life that what other people think about you is none of your business early in my life and even in recent times i had striven to be liked to not upset people to keep the peace but i found all i managed to do was put myself in a twist trying to please everyone in all things. What other people think of me is none of my business was a quote from eleanor roosevelt first lady 1933 1945 and reform leader. I d been lucky that in my career of writing a blog and newspaper column the negativity aimed towards me had been kept to a minimum but for some reason as i began being more vocal about my journey out of the doldrums to happiness the trolls became more vocal too.
The only person you need to be concerned about is you. Seeking approval is a waste of your time and energy. I used to worry a lot about what other people think about me. Wasting your time thinking about what they are thinking about you serves nothing.

What other people think about you is none of your business. It means that you aren t going to allow what other think about you to disempower you. I wanted to be a stand up comic about ten years before i actually did it. What others think about me is none of my business.
It will only bring you suffering. It doesn t mean that you are conceited narcissistic self absorbed or a bitch. It s not about whether others approve of you but if you approve of you.
