The difference between bishop and pastor is that the responsibilities of bishops are not only limited to the management of the congregation but also includes the people who are bound by it.
The term bishop comes from the greek word espiskopos which mean overseer. Both bishops and pastors tend to look over a church where they provide sermons and guidance to their congregation. Some of the terms commonly used include pastor elder bishop reverend minister and priest. Pastors are asked to only look after the congregation.
