However that tastes really bad. Combining apple cider vinegar with an alkaline compound such as baking soda may help neutralize some of its acidity. However it s unclear whether the common recipes shared on the internet result. If both the substances are mixed in the right proportion it can turn out into a downright explosive.
Combining these two elements will give you a reaction. The result of this initial reaction is two new chemicals. Carbonic acid and sodium acetate. The second reaction is a decomposition reaction.
Mixing vinegar and baking soda initiates a chemical reaction that produces carbon dioxide and water.
