What Force Keeps The Planets In Orbit Around The Sun

While each planet has its own gravity based on the size of the planet and the speed at which it travels orbit is based on the gravity of the sun. Or that could be our planet earth going around the sun. Gravity is the primary force that controls the orbit of the planets around the sun.

And so that could be a moon going around a planet. Inertia keeps the planets spinning. The force will be equal on the two. The gravitational pull of the moon pulls the seas towards it causing the ocean tides.

The two forces that work together to keep the planets in orbit around the sun are gravity and inertia. People misunderstood gravitation for centuries.
