1 corinthians 13 4 7 love is patient love is kind.

Love bears all things believes all things hopes all things endures all things. Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her and likewise also the wife to her husband. Love does not envy or boast. But that is not proof of love.

God loved us before we loved him and we certainly did nothing to deserve that love. In fact the bible says that love is of god and god is love 1 john 4 7 8. God is love and all who live in love live in god and god lives in them. Nevertheless because of sexual immorality let each man have his own wife and let each woman have her own husband.

Forgiveness is key and. Above all keep loving one another earnestly since love covers a multitude of sins the good news. It is not arrogant or rude. In other words love is a fundamental characteristic of who god is.
